Well yesterday saw us face the hardest conditions in years, wet course, very windy and difficult greens, hats off to the green keepers who have work tirelessly all week to get the course looking good, the morning players had the best of the conditions as evidenced in the scoring. The wind was high all day but it was almost gale force in the afternoon, congratulations to Lee Turner who won the Dixon Bowl with a nett 68 (great score) and Alan Thistlethwaite who won the Netherby cup with a nett 71, lets hope for better conditions next week because I don’t think any of us ever want to go through that again, good luck next week everyone
