The directions to the club are as follows :-
From Junction 6 of the M65 take the A678 to Rishton
Follow the A678 into the town centre and before you reach the traffic lights the is a large Parish Church on the left, St Peter & St Paul, with a clock on top - turn right down Station Rd.
Take the last road on the left Walmsley Ave to the fourth street on the left Petre Crescent.
Down Petre Crescent take the first road on the right Hawthorn Drive.
Go up Hawthorn Drive, over the railway bridge and on to the car park.
The clubhouse is on the left with a large practice putting green in front of it and a practice area on the right of the car park.
The course is accessed by going over the bridge over the M65 motorway.
This Motorway actually cut though the middle of the course in the early 1980's leaving us very short of members and parts of a new course to deal with.
Since all the work was completed the course has been brought to our liking and is now a credit to our greens staff and we are always striving to make whatever improvements that we can.

Below is a photograph which we found whilst tidying one of our cabinets at the golf club.
This was a picture donated to the club by a member to raffle or auction at a social function.
As soon as the picture was unearthed our Social Chairman, Robert Hutchinson, claimed it and said "I know a lad who would love to have this picture as he is mad on Manchester United and his house is full of such memorabilia about the club" So off Robert went without a bye or leave to organise a presentation.
The lad in the picture is Nathan Walker of Accrington who is aged 18 and he was overwhelmed when presented with the signed picture of his hero Wayne Rooney and to this day is telling everyone that he meets how proud he is to have such a gift.
Nathan's greatest wish is to be able to go to Old Trafford and meet Wayne Rooney.
"We would like to say a big thank you to Rishton Golf Club and to Robert, for their generosity toward Nathan, you have made him very happy"
